Job Summary
The Residential Assistant is accountable for providing and coordinating care for residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse, establishing a sense of belonging, usefulness and purpose in the daily life of residents.
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma preferred.
- Dementia training preferred.
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Experience in Long-Term Care setting involving hospice, housekeeping, dietary, laundry and activities is preferred.
Work Schedule
- Day Shifts: 8:00am-3:30pm; PRN as needed, casual requirements per department policy.
- Occasional weekend
- Occasional holiday
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
- $17.00 - $20.50 per hour
