Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Ag Lender to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in banking and loan origination, with a focus on providing exceptional service to our agricultural customers. As an Ag Lender, you will be responsible for evaluating loan applications, processing loans, and building lasting relationships with customers in the agricultural field.
Duties

• Assess loan applications from agricultural clients, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of financial statements and credit histories to determine loan eligibility.
• Process loans efficiently while adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with customers to understand their financial needs and provide tailored lending solutions.
• Utilize financial software to manage loan origination and processing tasks effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and customer interactions, ensuring compliance with internal standards.
• Provide ongoing support to customers throughout the loan lifecycle, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
• Stay informed about industry trends and developments in agricultural finance to better serve customers.
• Cross sell bank products to customers
• Complete other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree or related experience in agricultural finance, accounting, business
• Detail oriented and able to multi-task
• Proficient in using financial software for loan management and documentation.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
