Block 100 Apartment Leasing Employee Needed!

Join the NAI North Star team as our Marshall, MN correspondent with our property management and residential leasing team. 

• $19-22/hour (5-15 hours/week on average)
• Contract Employee, Must be able to work nights/weekends as needed
• Additional Hours available if also covering Redwood Falls Community (Red Skye Lofts)

Are you someone who is responsible, positive and proud to help others in your local community? Our apartment communities in Marshall and Redwood Falls are seeking a community-minded individual to join us as an Apartment Leasing Consultant. In this role, you'll be the welcoming face for both new and current residents. You will help coordinate smooth move-ins, move-outs, and apartment tours. This role plays an important part in maintaining a vibrant and comfortable living community.

Job Responsibilities:

• Welcome prospective and current residents
• Schedule and lead apartment tours
• Help coordinate move-in/out logistics
• Respond quickly to inquiries
• Support leasing and property management team with paperwork and simple marketing tasks
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance of vacant units and common areas (light cleaning/custodial assistance may be required)
• Assist with light fixes, on-call assistance (example: Tenant lock-outs, etc.)
• Conduct regular property walk-thrus and reporting
• Maintain confidentiality and follow safety and security protocols

Qualifications:

• Local Knowledge/Presence: Being the "face" and contact for our resident community
• Must have reliable transportation/valid driver's license, phone and email access. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• 1-2 years in customer service role or similar experience
• No formal leasing/real estate sales experience necessary, but preferred
• Ability to work independently/remotely as an extension of our Mankato, MN team
• Excellent time management skillset

• Leasing Consultant must follow Fair Housing Laws per Federal Law and the Minnesota Department of Commerce.
