The Marshall Police Department offers a 14-week field training program for new officers. The Department also offers opportunities for growth and a variety of assignments, including but not limited to: field training officer, ALICE instructor, firearms instructor, use of force instructor, taser instructor, emergency vehicle operator instructor, Cellbrite technician, Emergency Response Unit (ERU), School Resource Officer, drone operator, investigations, etc.

This position is open to both entry-level and lateral-entry officers.  Lateral-entry pay considerations available based on previous experience and other relevant factors.

Compensation and Benefits Package:
2026 Entry-level Pay Rate: $36.42  per hour
