POSITION LOCATION: SWWC Service Cooperative with placement in Marshall, MN.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Director of Human Resources is a member of the Executive Leadership Team and collaborates on issues related to the overall leadership and administration of the agency. The Director of Human Resources is responsible for a wide range of human resources functions and plays a key role in SWWC’s operations. The Director of Human Resources is crucial in fostering a positive work environment, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and policies, and supporting SWWC’s overall mission of providing exceptional services, innovative solutions, and proactive support
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Candidates must possess comprehensive knowledge of the principles and practices of the human resource function, employment laws and practices, benefit administration, and compensation practices and must possess thorough knowledge of leadership and management principles. In addition, candidates must possess the ability to demonstrate confidentiality, critical thinking skills when completing unique or complex job assignments, and competency in human relations/customer services skills, supervision, and leadership. Candidates must be able to always communicate positively about the agency and work cooperatively and collaboratively with both internal and external customers.
EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must have a Master’s Degree and considerable experience in a job-related field OR equivalent combination of education, HR certification, training, and experience in a job- related field that enables performance of all aspects of this position. Candidates must also have a valid driver’s license.
SALARY: 260-day contract with Salary ranging from $110,209 to $135,751 dependent upon education, qualifications, and experience. The role includes excellent benefits, details of which can be found here. Position to begin July 28th, 2025.
