Loan Technician

First Independent Bank, a family-owned community bank since 1903, is seeking 2 full time Loan Technicians. One position to be in Marshall and one to be in Cottonwood.

The Loan Technician is responsible for preparing and processing loan files. This will involve obtaining all necessary documentation as well as ensuring compliance with bank, regulatory, and investor guidelines. The satisfactory performance of these duties will provide a high level of exceptional personal service to our customers while reducing credit risk to the Bank. This is an in-office position.

The primary responsibilities of this position are to assist lenders by preparing and processing: 

• New loan documentation

• Renewal and modification documentation

• Denied or withdrawn files

• Supporting documents

• Loan files

 Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required

• 1-3 Years of Loan Processing experience preferred

• 1 or more years experience in the financial services industry preferred

• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills

• Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex challenges efficiently

• Operates Windows based software and standard office equipment

Salary Range: $17.50-28.00 Hourly
