Women's Connect:
Success Without Sacrifice: Stop Seeking Approval. Start Leading
Women are often encouraged to be accommodating and focused on the needs of others. While these qualities can be strengths, they can also lead to people-pleasing behaviors that limit confidence, leadership presence, and career growth. In this session, Jane Lanoue Binzak shares practical strategies to set boundaries, communicate with confidence, and lead authentically—without sacrificing kindness, relationships, or success.

Jane Binzak
Jane Lanoue Binzak is a people strategist, business leader, licensed attorney, and Forbes Human Resources Council member with more than 20 years of executive leadership experience. She has led enterprise HR strategy for organizations ranging from high-growth companies to public-sector employers with workforces of up to 40,000 employees, helping organizations scale, navigate complex workforce challenges, and align talent strategies with business goals. As the leader of Human Resources at Runnings, she leverages her legal expertise and business acumen to build high-performing teams, improve operational effectiveness, and support sustainable growth.
