Let’s identify our Minnesota birds and learn why our avian friends are decreasing in numbers. Learn how the Blue Bird Recovery Program has succeeded in saving our beautiful birds.
Tuesday, January 13, 6:30-7:30 PM All ages welcome!
This event is part of Flight Path, a series of 4 hands on birding programs to help protect our birds. Discover our resident and migratory avian neighbors, and take fun, creative action to protect them. Attend one, attend some, or attend all. All programs are family oriented.
Presented by Cindy Sabinske, University of Minnesota Master Naturalist, Lyon County Coordinator Blue Bird Project Minnesota and Sue Morton, University of Minnesota Master Gardener/Audubon Citizen Scientist.
Flight Path is the first campaign in the new Spark of Science@ My Library initiative. With the goal of sparking curiosity about science and creating a deeper understanding of how science can improve human health and the health of our planet, this initiative is a partnership between the STAR Library Education Network and HHMI Tangled Bank Studios.
