Job Summary

The Medical Assistant in the Clinic is accountable for performing duties that assist in care for clinic patients following established standards, practices and competency.

 Education and/or Experience

  • Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with an Associate’s degree or diploma required upon hire.
  • Six or more years in a healthcare setting and/or Medical Assisting

Licensure/Certification/Registration

  • Basic Life Support required within 30 days of hire.
  • Must be licensed through one of the following upon hire:
    • National Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA).
    • National Registration as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through the American Medical Technologist (AMT).
    • National Certification as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through the National Health Career Association.

Work Schedule

  • Clinic hours: 8:00am-5:00pm; 48 hours every 2 weeks

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

  • $19.25 - $27.00 per hour
