Do Minnesota birds stay or go? Let’s explore their habitat and their habits, where they spend their winters, and how they find their way to their winter homes. We will go on a bird scavenger hunt too!
Saturday, February 21, 10:15-11:30 AM Fun for the family!
This event is part of Flight Path, a series of 4 hands on birding programs to help protect our birds. Discover our resident and migratory avian neighbors, and take fun, creative action to protect them. Attend one, attend some, or attend all. All programs are family oriented.
Presented by Cindy Sabinske, University of Minnesota Master Naturalist, Lyon County Coordinator Blue Bird Project Minnesota and Sue Morton, University of Minnesota Master Gardener/Audubon Citizen Scientist.
Flight Path is the first campaign in the new Spark of Science@ My Library initiative. With the goal of sparking curiosity about science and creating a deeper understanding of how science can improve human health and the health of our planet, this initiative is a partnership between the STAR Library Education Network and HHMI Tangled Bank Studios.
