This is an introduction level workshop about what cloud computing is and how it can benefit your organization or personal setting. Discussion will include collaboration in the cloud using the full suite of Google Apps tools such as: email, calendar, documents, instant message, video and more. Also, it will identify some of the dilemmas organizations face with current costly hardware/software updates versus going to a cloud computing solution. In addition, there will be a Google Chromebook available on display to discuss the growing trends in these low cost devices for business, education and home users. We will leave ample time towards the end for open discussion and questions. For additional information or questions about this class contact Darrin Brownlee at Versatile Solutions, Inc. at 507-537-9798 or check their website at http://www.versatile-solutions.net.
