Runnings is a fast-growing retail chain with 90 stores and five distribution centers in 12 states. Currently we have a career opportunity in our Retail Support Center for a Full-Time Payroll & Benefits Specialist.
Job Duties include:
Payroll:
- Support the full life cycle of the employee, including but not limited to onboarding, job and pay changes, and terminations.
- Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.
- Execute time and attendance processing and interface with payroll.
- Prepare and process weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees.
- Reconcile payroll prior to payment and confirm reports.
- Confirm that legally mandated and optional deductions have been processed correctly.
- Process accurate and timely quarterly and year-end reporting.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws.
- Compile and submit payroll deductions related check requests and payments.
Benefits:
- Process and administer employee benefit deductions (including health, dental, and life insurance, 401(k)
- Process and reconcile invoices for payment for all vendors and insurance carriers related to benefits and retirement plans.
- Prepare and generate required reports, for both payroll and benefit information.
- Provide support and respond to employee inquiries related to benefits.
- Any and all other duties as assigned by Manager.
Pay Range: $20.00 - $26.00 Depending on experience. This is a full-time position offering a competitive compensation and benefits package including health, dental, life, FSA, 401k with match, a generous employee discount program, and more.
