Nurse

True Light Christian School is seeking applications for the position of a School Nurse for the 2025-2026 school year.

Applicants must be Christian believers who feel called by God to help students live a life pleasing to God and agree the True Light School Statement of Faith and other beliefs stated in the True Light Handbooks.  Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (RN) and Registered Public Health Nurse are required.  

Responsibilities will include: Care of students preschool through eighth grade, completion and oversight of screening, managing of student records, and other tasks as appropriate.

A successful School Nurse will possess the following:

1. Love for Christ and children

2. Wholehearted agreement with school’s Statement of Faith and Christian philosophy of education

3. Ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions

4. Ability to work with and be a part of a team

5. Ability to work independently

6. Knowledge of student well being needs

7. Regular attendance at a local Bible believing church
