Position Summary:
To perform the full range of supervisory and custodial duties related to the care, maintenance, and cleaning of various City buildings and facilities (i.e., Marshall Municipal Building, Marshall-Lyon County Library, Marshall Area Adult Community Center, M.E.R.I.T. Center, Street Department, and Wastewater Administration Building).
Eligibility for hire: Employment is conditional upon successful completion and passage of a criminal history background check, a pre-employment physical, a pre-employment drug screening, and reference checks to determine suitability for employment.
Schedule: Full-time position (40 hours per week); generally Monday-Friday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. This position may also be subject to emergency call-in on evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Anticipated start date: Monday, December 8, 2025.
Compensation: The full pay range is $29.43 per hour for an entry level candidate, and up to $39.16 per hour for a highly qualified and experienced candidate.
