Client Services Assistant

We are seeking a Client Services Assistant at our CPA firm located in Marshall, MN. This full-time position is ideal for a detail-oriented and personable candidate to support our accounting team and ensure a high level of service for our clients. This role involves administrative support, client communication, and coordination of day-to-day office operations. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities will include:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Schedule client appointments and manage calendars for a variety of staff.
  • Prepare and process client documents, such as engagement letters, tax forms, and financial reports.
  • Maintain and update client records in the firm’s database.
  • Assist with onboarding new clients and gathering necessary documentation.
  • Coordinate the flow of information between clients and accounting staff.
  • Support billing and invoicing processes.
  • Process a variety of electronic filings in support of client interests.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
  • Maintain office supplies and assist with general office upkeep.
  • Provide administrative support for special projects as needed.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Prior experience in a professional office setting, preferably in accounting or financial services.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
 
Details:
  • Full-time onsite in our Marshall Office
  • Compensation of $22-$27 per hour commensurate with experience.
