Brent M Snodgrass

I was born and raised in Southwest Minnesota, attended the University of Minnesota - Duluth and graduated with a degree in business administration. Initially, I used this and prior experiences to start my own successful aviation company in Houston, Texas. After being a business owner for several years, the itch to join the "family business" became too much to ignore, as I knew Edward Jones so well. My father retired from the firm after 40 years, and both my brothers and a cousin are also with the firm.

After joining Edward Jones, my wife, Sarah, and I eventually relocated to Marshall, where we quickly felt at home. We live on a small acreage, which allows Sarah the opportunity to raise a flock of chickens and try to convince me to add more animal varieties. When we're not collecting eggs, we do enjoy spending our time outdoors, and I take every opportunity to get behind the controls of an airplane. We've since welcomed our first child, James, and he is keeping us on our toes.

My primary goal is to help you develop an investment strategy geared toward your unique, long-term goals. Whether you need to set up a business retirement plan, save for a child's college education, reduce taxes or plan for your retirement, I can help. At Edward Jones, we focus on serving the financial needs of individual investors of all ages and financial means. We have built our business by treating our clients as we would want to be treated, a simple idea that still makes sense in today's complex marketplace. I, along with my branch team, look forward to meeting you and creating a lasting relationship with you and your family.

Carl Johnson

Carl has worked for Hoffman & Brobst, PLLP for 9 years in various roles. Currently, he is a Partner in Training and will become a full equity partner with the firm in 2026. When he is not working, carl enjoys spending time with his wife, Taylor, and their two boys – Callum and Beckham. He also enjoys golfing and attending sporting events. Carl is an active member on the Pride in the Tiger Foundation, currently serving as the board President. Carl is a 2022 graduate of the Marshall Leadership Academy.

About Young Professionals

At Marshall Area Young Professionals, our purpose is to engage community members with opportunities to network at various venues within the area, provide opportunities for members to give back tot he community, and to create learning and development opportunities for future leaders! The Marshall Area Young Professionals group meets on the third Tuesday of every month at rotating locations.
