Futsal Program Referee
Part-time hours, must be available Friday and Saturday evenings Hourly Pay Range: $11.00
JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Director of Sports and Recreation and in accordance with the goals and objectives of the Marshall Area YMCA, the Futsal Program Referee personnel is responsible for the following activities: working with a diverse group of adults; starting programming in a timely manner; program preparation and clean-up; enforcing program rules; providing direction; and objectively officiate the Futsal Matches. In addition he/she is to aid the Marshall Area YMCA in fulfilling our mission to instill the values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility through programs and services that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must be at least 21 years of age. Person must have a social personality that reflects leadership and can understand and meet their wide variety of needs. CPR for the Professional Rescuer and Basic First Aid certifications are required. Bilingual abilities is a plus. Previous referee experience is suggested but not required.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND PREREQUISITES: Candidate must be available Friday and Saturday nights. Incumbent must be able to move easily across a variety of indoor and outdoor terrain; lift up to 50 pounds; and watch and listen to the activities of a group of people.
