About this position:

The Operations Analyst Intern provides analysis and risk mitigation for the GreatAmerica Portfolio Services Group (“GPSG”) backup servicing product. Responsible for assisting with assigned backup servicing relationships and contracts. Specifically, this position will assist with the onboarding, periodic reporting, monitoring, and overall transition preparation for GPSG backup servicing assignments. This position will also assist in preparing backup servicing fee invoices and revenue recognition for backup servicing assignments.

Additional specific responsibilities include:

  • Assist with research of potential GPSG clients
  • Throughout each month, monitor existing clients through research, report review and trend analysis
  • Prepare monthly billing charges based on transaction agreements and portfolio activity
  • Assist in creation of monthly management report outlining the backup servicing exposure and required responsibilities
  • Participate in quarterly backup servicing review with Senior Leadership
  • Assist with the review and documentation of client processes
  • Proactively promote and participate in process improvement initiatives within the business unit
  • Special projects for leadership and GPSG, including but not limited to:
    • Documenting locations of contracts through review of client reports/data
    • Documenting key language through review of transaction agreements
  • Documenting overview of backup servicing
