DESCRIPTION:Author Scott Thoma will present on the 50th Anniversary of the Tracy Tornado on Tuesday\, May 15 at the Lyon County Museum\, 301 W Lyon St\, Marshall.  The program starts at 6:30pm.  Copies of his book\, Out of the Blue\, will be available for purchase.  The program is free and light refreshments will be served.  For more information\, please contact the museum at 507-537-6580 or director@lyoncomuseum.org\n\n\n\nOn June 13\, 1968\, the first F5 tornado ever recorded in Minnesota struck the town of Tracy around 7 p.m. Nine people were killed and over 100 injured.  Scott Thoma's book\, Out of the Blue\, is a true story about two sisters and their miraculous survival of one of the most powerful tornadoes in Minnesota history.
