Avera is currently seeking Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who are looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.

  • Purpose: Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) play a vital role in the delivery of long-term care services and create a caring and joyful environment for his/her residents. 

Job Summary

  • The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs an active role in nursing, as well as mentoring staff, assessing residents, communicating with staff, physicians and residents.
  • The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will serve as a resident advocate for quality clinical care.
  • The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) maintains confidentiality of patients, visitors, organization personnel and organization business in general.

Education and/or Experience

  • Graduate from an accredited two-year college or technical school for professional nursing. One year of experience in a long term setting preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Minnesota required.
  • CPR Required.

Work Schedule

  • Day shift 6:00am-6:30pm or Night shift 6:00pm-6:30am, every third weekend, every third holiday, occasional call; 72 hours every 2 weeks
