We are seeking an analytical, inquisitive and self-motivated individual to join our team as an Operations Analyst. You will provide back-up servicing analysis, risk mitigation, and oversight assistance of backup servicing contracts in the GreatAmerica Portfolio Services Group (“GPSG”) while providing analytical support to business unit leaders which support operating and strategic decisions within the back-up servicing area.
As an Operations Analyst, you’ll:
Play a Critical Role: Assist in risk reviews of potential GPSG clients, risk mitigation activities, and the onboarding processes with data mapping support. Actively participate in the transition planning process for backup servicing contracts including the creation of detailed timelines and responsibility documentation. Support monitoring the overall transition preparation for GPSG backup servicing assignments.
Use Your Expertise: Apply your advanced MS Excel skills as you prepare and deliver periodic reporting for GPSG and backup relationships. You’ll perform monthly, quarterly, and annual backup servicing reviews, servicer report tie outs and provide servicer report certification. You’ll also be able to utilize your analytical skills in monitoring existing clients through research, report review, and trend analysis.
Be a Trusted Resource: Play a key role in maintaining client relationships as you communicate regularly with GPSG clients regarding performance and related issues. You’ll participate in onsite operational reviews and client visits too.
Be a Culture Champion: Actively participate in Backup Servicing strategic initiative projects for GPSG and leadership while proactively promoting and participating in process improvement initiatives.

To be successful in this role you’ll need:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field (required)
• One to three years of related work experience
• A mathematical aptitude
• Excellent communication skills, the ability to successfully multi-task, and keen attention to detail
• The ability to analyze operations policies and procedures
• Coaching and development skills
