Job Description
Salary and Terms:  Athletic Fixed term, full time position. Salary placement is based on evaluation of education and experience. 
Appointment Date:  As soon as possible

Position Description:  The Assistant Coach will be involved in all aspects of coaching responsibilities including recruiting, practice, organization, scheduling, trip organization, fundraising, alumni relations and summer camps. Responsibilities may also include intramural director, game management, marketing, advertising and promotions, special events, weight room/fitness center director and Office of Admission recruiting. Responsibilites may include budgeting and  hiring and supervision of student workers. Coaching and administrative duties will be 75% of the assignment. The position includes teaching assignment of six credits (25%) that reflect the candidate’s degree, prior teaching experience and/or area of expertise.  

Master's degree required.
Collegiate basketball coaching experience required.
Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations is required.
Preference given to candidates with upper Midwest collegiate recruiting and camp coordinator experience.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills and effective human relation skills required.
Experience with computers and their applications is required, with preference given to those with experience using Microsoft Office and Synergy.
Must have an understanding of and appreciation for liberal education.
