Manage an ag portfolio to ensure the delivery of exceptional client service and the achievement of benchmark standards and individual performance objectives, while minimizing credit risk exposure. Key responsibilities include business development and retention, credit analysis, loan structure design, risk management, community involvement, and ensuring the assigned portfolio is in compliance with all applicable standards, policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.  Represent Bremer within the agricultural community.  Stay abreast of key agricultural issues and trends, including commodity markets, marketing strategies and issues impacting ag producers.  Utilize Bremer’s Relationship Management Strategy to build deep and broad client relationships.  Actively engage in networking, COI and business development with new prospects.  Candidate must be familiar with government farm programs including but not limited to FSA, CPR, and Crop Insurance.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Combination of education and experience, generally acquired through the attainment of a Bachelor's Degree; five years experience in the credit administration and lending functions; background in agriculture; and experience with business development activities.  Not required for this job, however Ag Bankers that sell multi-peril and/or crop/hail insurance must obtain and maintain the appropriate licensure.  Ability to demonstrate and consistently model Bremer values, Bremer Leadership Competencies and foster an inclusive work environment.
